Every pre-shift meeting, understood by the whole team.

Live translation for the morning lineup at hotels, golf courses, and country clubs. Housekeeping, engineering, and grounds staff each hear it in their own language, on their own phone.

Pre-shift lineup → many languages on the team

A team that works in more than one language.

The pre-shift meeting is where room assignments, VIP arrivals, chemical safety, and the day’s course conditions get passed along, and it usually happens in English. When part of a housekeeping, engineering, or grounds team would follow it better in another language, the supervisor rarely has time to repeat it. BabelCast translates the briefing live, so each person hears and reads it in their own language on their own phone.

How BabelCast fits.

01

The supervisor briefs

Start a session from a phone at the lineup, in the linen room or the maintenance shop.

02

We translate live

Captions and a natural translated voice in the languages on your team.

03

Everyone hears the same plan

Staff scan a QR code and pick a language. Nobody installs an app or waits for a headset.

What matters most here.

Several languages at once

One session covers the whole lineup. Each person picks the language they want.

Works on any phone

Staff join in the browser from a QR code or a link, with no app and no account.

Listeners are free

Seasonal hires and a bigger crew don’t change the price. Billing follows the speaker, never headcount.

Glossary for property termsComing soon

Room types, cleaning chemicals, and course equipment translated the same way every time.

OSHA language comprehension

OSHA guidance expects safety training to be presented in a language and vocabulary workers understand. At a hotel or a golf course, that includes training on cleaning chemicals and grounds equipment. BabelCast lets you give the same safety briefing to the whole team live, in each person’s language. It supports your safety program and doesn’t replace it.

Questions, answered.

Start a BabelCast session from a phone at the lineup. Housekeepers scan a QR code or open a short link on their own phones, pick a language, and hear the briefing in a natural translated voice with captions. Captions and a natural translated voice follow the speaker by a few seconds. Nobody installs an app or creates an account, and there are no headsets to hand out.

The superintendent or crew lead starts a session from a phone at the morning meeting, and each crew member follows along on their own phone in their own language, with captions and a translated voice. Course setup, equipment safety, and weather calls reach the whole crew in one pass. BabelCast runs in the browser, so there is nothing to install.

The speaker talks in English, and BabelCast translates into 10 languages with captions and a natural voice: Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Hindi, Japanese, Chinese (Mandarin), German, Korean, and Russian. Haitian Creole, Tagalog, and Vietnamese are not available yet, so check your team’s languages against this list before you plan a rollout. Translation runs one way, from the English speaker to the listeners.

BabelCast bills by the source-hour of the speaker’s detected speech, and listeners are free, so a team of 40 costs the same as a team of five. One daily 10-minute briefing fits the Essential plan at $99 a month, with 5 included source-hours and up to 4 languages at once. A property that briefs housekeeping, engineering, and grounds every day fits Operations at $349 a month, with 20 source-hours, up to 8 languages at once, and priority support. Annual billing takes 20% off. Prices exclude applicable sales tax.
